It started with the simple desire to provide quality food for our family and has grown into a passion. Excited to share with our friends and family what we learned and continue to learn on this blog.
Our organic veggies were grown with soil that used only the fertilizer from our hens/pigs and the cover crops that get tilled in each spring before planting. We raised chickens for eggs for 20 plus years and have raised our own meaties (cornishx chickens) for several years. We also raised our own pork, lamb and turkey. Honey and mason bees on the property helped our fruit trees! Dream house: Earthship with solar and completely off grid. Until then, please reduce, reuse, recycle and respect our planet.
